Senior HR AdvisorLocation: South YorkshireSalary: £35,000 -£40,000This is a very exciting opportunity for a highly competent and ambitious onsite HR Generalist to join an innovative and agile national supply chain business which is going through a period of expansion.Offered on a permanent basis, initially the main purpose of the Senior HR Advisor will be to set up a brand new logistics site in the South Yorkshire area, therefore previous 3PL/logistics experience and experience of a new site set up will be highly advantageous.As Senior HR Advisor you will work closely with the site management team providing support and advice on all people matters, establish a full onsite HR service and drive recruitment activities in order to fulfil a rapidly increasing headcount. The successful candidate for this role will be will be highly operational with a commercially focused mindset.Ongoing responsibilities of the Senior HR Advisor include;*Build relationships with site management team and become a trusted advisor to them for all people activity*Support management team in managing onsite performance. *Work with site management team on driving recruitment campaign, onboarding, site inductions and on job training. *Ensure HR process and procedures are followed on site for all activity. *Manage employee relations case work - grievance, sickness, absence, performance, disciplinary, dismissal *Support in delivering against the People plan. *Develop and analyse people data, produce management reports and make appropriate recommendations.*Support, coach and develop the HR Assistant. The Senior HR Advisor should have the following skills & experience;*Experience in previous site set up would be highly advantageous*Proven Business Partnering experience, ideally within a 3PL/Logistics environment*Ability to develop strong and effective working relationships*Agile and proactive with an innovative mindset enabling you to craft smart people solutions.*Ability to work within a fast paced environment, often having to adapt to changing priorities *Confident decision maker who is able to work independently*Ambition to develop into HR Business Partner*CIPD Required skills
