Job Description

Do you have the passion, the drive and the confidence to lead a classroom full of students as a Cover SupervisorWe are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to join our bank of supply staff for day to day, short term and long term vacancies in Secondary Schools within South Yorkshire. You will have the freedom to dictate where you work, for how many hours a day/ weekand have excellent opportunities for growth.Main Duties

  • Lead the class through the work that has been set
  • Keep students on task and focused with their work
  • Supervising behaviour, following the behaviour policy set out by the school at all times
  • Support the students, utilising any TAs that are within the classroom
  • Report to the contact at the school and record any issues that may arise
  • Record attendance

Key Requirements
  • Recent experience leading a group of students
  • A degree certificate in any subject or a Level 2 certificate in teaching (CELTA, TEFL, PTTLS etc)
  • A DBS that is on the DBS Update Service (or be willing to undertake a new one)
  • A minimum of Level 1 Safeguarding (or be willing to undergo an online course)
