Job Description

Are you experienced selling into the metals industryThriving to join a knowledgeable and forward thinking teamIf so I would like to hear from you!I am currently recruiting for a leading Non-Ferrous Stockholder based in the South Yorkshire Area. This business thrive on their culture and are looking for a like-minded people who want to grow and progress.The successful candidate would have at least 2 years sales experience in the metals industry and proven sales experience.Package Details:

  • Salary £23,000£30,000 (Depending on level of experience)
  • Quarterly bonus
  • 20 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays
  • Pension
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am5:00pm
  • Great working environment
  • Car parking on site
Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively managing your portfolio of clients.
  • Developing strong relationships with new clients to close business deals.
  • Obtaining outbound calls to generate new accounts.
  • Undertaking rotations around the business to ensure you understand all aspects of the process.
  • Gaining real exposure to the warehouse and building a thorough understanding of the products.
  • Conducting market research to ensure you are knowledgeable about competitors.
  • Creating, qualifying and managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Obtaining enquiries from existing and potential customers.
  • Negotiating payment terms with existing and potential customers to try to improve the return on investment.
  • Using the pool of non-allocated customers to win and develop business and eventually turn them into regular allocated customers.
  • Identifying future tactics to secure or develop the business
Required Skills:
  • Proven track record in business development
  • 2 years experience selling into the Metals industry
  • Ability to cold call as well as account management
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Driven attitude
  • Ability to work to pressurized targets
