Job Description

Bay Recruitment Group are recruiting for professional parents’ to undertake the role of Residential Care Practitioner- nurturing and supporting individuals would be ideal for this role. The client endeavours to give the children they are responsible for high levels of care and encourage them to achieve amazing outcomes. This role is to promote and encourage independence and life skills for young people, ensuring that their safety and wellbeing underpins every decision made.An Ideal Candidate

  • 12 months experience in a care environment
  • Some experience working with behavioural and emotional difficulties and challenging behaviour (full training will be given)
  • Resilience and passion, in order to achieve positive outcomes
  • A flexible approach and the ability to complete mandatory sleep ins (£60 per sleep in)
  • Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce qualification or equivalent (desirable)
  • A Full UK driving licence (due to rural location)
    • Requirements
  • To provide a supportive and nurturing delivery of residential childcare in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • To lead by example and maintain good professional practices in accordance with the minimum standards for children’s homes.
  • To be held accountable for the safety and wellbeing of our young people, whilst on shift with them.
  • To help create a supportive and positive environment for each young person with particular reference to his or her safety, health and education.
  • To act as a surrogate parent with professional boundaries.
