We are currently looking for a QC Microbiologist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Yorkshire area.As the QC Microbiologist you will be responsible for carrying out support activities such as the calibration of analytical equipment, setting down and management of stability studies to support Quality compliance and business growth through new products development. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the QC Microbiologist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. As the QC Microbiologist you will understand all basic GMP and GLP requirements including data documentation requirements as well as support new product introductions and business improvements initiatives, including validation of Micro methods. 2. The analysis of raw materials and finished products/ stability to the approved microbiology specification is a crucial duty for the Microbiologist. 3. You will ensure proper maintenance of all appropriate records relating to both work and equipment operation as well as ensuring the correct calibration of equipment is carried out. 4.It will be crucial to support laboratory administrative processes and support the QC OOS and site deviation processes. ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Microbiologist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Degree qualification within Microbiology or another relevant scientific discipline is required. 2. We are primarily looking for someone with experience within a GMP laboratory. 3.
