Job Description

Project Engineer£45,000-£50,000 DOE + Benefits South Yorkshire (with international travel)If being part of an elite organisation that operates at the very top of its field is your ambition, this opportunity is most definitely for you. In order to maintain a best-in-class reputation, our client must attract best in class professionals. A great opportunity hasarisen to join this business.Accountability and Responsibility:

  • Responsible for assigned portion of product design and development process, ensuring project schedules are maintained while following company standards.
  • Support foreign colleagues from Headquarters during technical and commercial negotiations.
  • Planning across multiple project milestones and resources to ensure engineering is delivered on time.
  • Manage delivery of motor and components list and coordinate with automation dept.
  • Visit sites worldwide to attend meetings, monitor installation and commissioning.
  • Be able to read and understand technical drawings (mechanical, electrical and piping).
  • Worldwide Customer visits occasionally required for kick off, progress meetings and site problem solving.
Qualifications & Experience: (desirable)
  • Degree or Diploma, in mechanical engineering or equivalent through relevant experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft programmes; in particular, Word formatting and overall documentation presentation skills.
  • Good communication and team working skills in both formal and informal business environments.
  • Experience of working in a technical department of an OEM.
  • Experience undertaking structured writing in the form of technical reports.
  • Working experience within technical structures for the products related to capital equipment, including; Conveyors/Material Handling/Crushers etc.
  • Fabrication/Steelwork Design.
  • Evidence of project management experience or understanding is beneficial.
  • 3-5 years of experience in 2D and 3D CAD is desirable (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor & PLM experience a plus).
