Michael Page Recruitment are proud to be working with Tan Delta Systems located in Dinnington, South Yorkshire. Due to large expansion plans Tan Delta are now looking to recruit several new positions within the business, one of these interesting positionsis a Days Based, Production Technician located at the Dinnington manufacturing plant.Client DetailsTan Delta Systems operate on a global scale with customers ranging from the largest engine manufacturers to small single equipment operators, from North America and Australia to Chile, India, Russia and Finland. Over many years Tan Delta has developed deepexperience and know-how in relation to the monitoring of all types of equipment using real time oil condition monitoring. The company develop core technologies and products inhouse, with manufacturing undertaken by a carefully selected manufacturing partnerswith whom our dedicated production QA department works.DescriptionAs the new Production Technician, you will report into the Production Manager and wear multiple hats within the business. This is a brand-new vacancy and daily responsibilities include soldering, building, and testing new and exciting products ready fordispatch. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting the production manager with quality, stock control, processing, packing and dispatching orders to our customers globally.Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • soldering, building, and testing new and exciting products.
  • testing customer systems which include standard and bespoke products.
  • Fault finding the final product prior to dispatch.
  • Checking in all deliveries.
  • Managing stock in the warehouse and reconciling stock takes.
  • Preparing, packing and dispatching sales orders.
ProfileThis Production Technician position will be based at the Dinnington manufacturing plant in South Yorkshire and will involve working with multiple areas of the business. Due to this strong communication and organisational skills are required. Additionally,you will need to be able to read engineering drawing and be competent at building small products in the production workshop.The successful candidate will possess the following skills, qualities and experience:
  • Reliable with a straightforward, common sense can-do approach to work.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to follow simple wiring schematic.
  • Numerate with experience of computer stock control and MRP systems.
Job OfferDays Based in Dinnington, starting salary of £25,000 to £30,000 with good progression opportunities.
