Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be exclusively partnering with a leading Yorkshire based Manufacturing business in their search for a Product Marketing Manager.This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our clients Product team, providing insights in support of the product roadmap and overall commercial growth of the business. The successful candidate will be required to gain a true understanding of existing and target markets and customer segments in order to create and implement the go-to-market strategy for the Product range. Delivering the knowledge, tools, collateral, and programs that enable effective marketing and selling of the product.Key Responsibilities:*Identify and define market opportunities for the product portfolio *Perform segmentation and targeting exercises to identify both the market and the customer segments *Develop product positioning, value propositions and messaging *Manage the launch and exit programs for each product category. Including all supporting documentation in co-ordination with technical and product development teams*Work on optimising digital tools with touch and trigger points for each market segment, persona and key product benefits, ensuring that technical and specification support are easily accessible *Help create sales enablement training, white papers and supporting product literature in collaboration with the content management team*Creating product focus groups to build deeper insights into specific key categories*Working with the wider product team to drive new product innovation with well-defined market requirements that include regulatory, legal and technical aspects *Create and manage technical marketing & product documentation *Define strategies for product marketing campaigns What specific technical knowledge and competencies does the Job Holder require*Previous B2B marketing experience from a relevant industry (building/Construction)*Demonstrable product marketing experience of highly technical solutions*Ability to conduct market, competitor, and customer research to gather insights and to assess market opportunities *Knowledge of and experience in traditional and digital market research methodologies and techniques *Ability to analyse data and information to draw conclusions and make actionable recommendations Elevation Recruitment focusing on Sales & Marketing positions in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
