Job Description

Role: Support and Enablement Worker (Previous Experience Required) Location: Balby, Doncaster Pay Rate: £9.91ph *New Service Opening - Training to Commence November 2021* Overtime available at an enhanced rate of +£2 per hour above hourly pay rates Wereproud to pay all employees at National Living Wage rate, or above, including those aged under 23 Voyage Care are recruiting! Here at our new specialist supportedliving service in Doncaster, we will be supporting 6 adults with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours - this includes people moving on from long term hospital stays. The aim of the service is to enable people to live a fulfilledlife, as independently as possible. You will develop positive, respectful and trusting relationships with the people we support to improve their confidence and self-esteem, incorporating both therapeutic and social based activities. You must be resilient,flexible and composed in your approach, following Positive Behaviour Support plans and understanding the importance of reflective practice to ensure the best outcomes for the person. Youll help the people we support to develop their independence in all aspectsof everyday life. This could include personal care, meal preparation, and taking part in hobbies & activities. Youll be out and about, enjoying life together and no single day or night will be the same.
