We have an exciting opportunity available for a leading Food manufacturer. Here at Futures, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer due to new lines being installed in this fast paced manufacturing environment.If you want to work on the latest and greatest machinery in the food industry, along side a team of well trained Engineers on a more proactive basis then this role could be worth considering. They supply the UKs leading retailers with a wide variety of productsand they are looking to strengthen the team with both an Electrical Engineer + Mechanical Engineer who is keen to continue developing their skill set.£38,000-£40,000 DOE4 on 4 off days and nights.Flexible overtime scheme paid out at time + 1/3Genuine progression opportunities + Training opportunities.Healthcare Scheme Reporting into the Engineering Manager you will take responsibility for both proactive and reactive maintenance duties within this fast paced production environment. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will share responsibility for achieving budgetedmachine performance targets and ensuring the machines are kept running to peak performance within the manufacturing unitKey responsibilities;Daily plant inspections, monitoring plant performanceYou will need to facilitate a speedy response to all plant stoppages and plan/implement modifications to new and existing equipmentCarrying out fault finding diagnosis/repairs on equipment and plantYou will have to ensure the PPM schedules are maintained in accordance with the current requirementsContinuous Improvement - identify new methods and proceduresEnsure accurate & timely records are entered / recorded of all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares / consumables usedSuccessful Maintenance EngineersPrevious experience of working within a FMCG manufacturing environmentTime served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, holding an Electrical Engineering HND / HNC / BTech / ONC / C&G Level 3 qualifications or higherPLC Fault finding skillsDegree / HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.17th EditionExcellent communication skillsWorking well under pressureWhy work hereThe company appreciate that in todays market, looking after your Engineering team is imperative to any large food manufacturing business (if you want to keep the machines running!).
