Job Description

A manufacturing organisation in S. Yorkshire have exclusively partnered with Michael Page to recruit an Interim Supply Chain Director for a six month contract.Client DetailsOur client, based in S. Yorkshire, are experiencing a strong period of growth which is anticipated to continue through 2020. Due to increases in sales and volume they are looking to recruit an interim consultant who can establish better systems and processes; predominantly around S&OP and OTIF.DescriptionWithin this consultancy of Interim Supply Chain Director the key aims will include:

  • A focus on two key areas, profit growth and cost / cash optimisation - relating to Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process and On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery performance
  • Stock level analysis towards better process implementation
  • Establish and run appropriate governance processes, determine future department structure, skills and be responsible for delivery of process excellence.
  • A reporting line directly to the Managing Director.
  • ProfileIdeally the successful applicant for this role of Interim Supply Chain Director will have:
  • A strong background in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain within an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Examples of similar interim assignments towards S&OP / OTIF process improvements
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement
  • The ability and experience to coach, mentor and develop team performance.
