Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are exclusively working with an Engineering Manufacturer who are looking to open a new manufacturing facility close to Rotherham, South Yorkshire in the search for 6-9 Month Interim Procurement Project Lead.The Interim Procurement Project Lead will be solely responsible for a full Procurement Implementation Project of a new factory rollout so you will be procuring, sourcing and negotiating on everything required for a factory fit out, including all indirect andsome Capex projects too.With an initial 6-9 Month timeline, the role could be extended further.Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:Full end to end sourcing of suppliers, developing and managing key relationships to meet the needs of the new factory roll out.Manage and develop contracts with key rebates and termsEnsure optimal supplier performance and priceWork closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of purchased goodsSupport with the new MRP rollout Elevation Recruiment would be keen to speak to candidates who have the following skillset:Proven experience of leading Procurement ProjectsEngineering or Manufacturing Industry experienceAbility to work independently Experience of building key supplier network and ensure best contractual termsInterim Project:6-9 Months but could be longerNegotiable on Day Rate £Out of scope of IR35
