Interim Deputy Head of Procurement Initial 3-month contract - South YorkshireNHS - Negotiable daily rate, inside IR35An exciting opportunity to work with an NHS Trust in South Yorkshire has just become available. This organisation provides care to a range of requirements and their Procurement Team are directly involved with Project Procurement as well as BAU procurement requirements.They are now looking for Interim Deputy Head of Procurement to assist them while they look to recruit the substantive position with an initial 3-month contract plus possible extension. The main purpose of this role is to support the implementation of the Trusts Procurement Strategy by providing procurement leadership, advice and expertise. Being responsible for managing the day-to-day procurement operations and resources to enable deliveryof the vision, business plans, savings and efficiency targets that are consistent with financial and operational governance arrangements. To build professional relationships, initiate and lead change to enable staff to deliver savings and quality improvementsand to ensure that procurement services are subject to continuous improvement through developing professional practices, enhancing expertise, and building procurement capability and capacity.Who are you*A CIPS qualified public sector procurement professional, ideally with previous NHS experience *An experience people manager able to coach and mentor staff*Able to procure a wide range of categories from clinical to none-clinical *Experienced being involved in projects and providing internal stakeholders with compliant outside the box thinking working as a critical friend to the organisation.If you are interested in this role, please email to hear more about this opportunity and the organisation.
