Injection Moulding SlingerA fantastic opportunity has become available for an Injection Moulding Slinger to join a well-known Manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire. The role will allow you to be part of a great team carrying out duties within a fast-paced Manufacturing business. Working Hours: 3 Shift patternSalary: £11.65 p/h inclusive of shift allowanceKey Responsibilities:*Setter and slinger checklist to collect from the Moulding Supervisor and fill in then pass to the setter*Tool changes to be done as when required and pass to the setter when completed for acceptance *Ensure automation is utilised at all times*To set tooling as required*To maintain the moulding machine and ancillaries to the optimum performance *To ensure housekeeping standards are adhered to and maintained and all equipment is tidy and available*To strive to try to strive maximum possible OEE and maintain a standard above 75% working towards 85% world class *To maintain a safe working environment and adhere to this at all times *To help with data collection filling in relevant paperwork when requested*Make sure that the correct setting card is displayed on the machine & information board alongside the safety check sheet and the Setters process check sheetKey Accountabilities:*Ensure the production plans are met on time and in full at the required cost and quality levels*Ensure both Mould tool / Automation equipment are maintained to the highest standards within the bounds of the Slingers responsibility*Ensure a program of continuous improvement in all activities*Ensure all relevant data is captured and entered onto appropriate systems (e.g. production tooling problems)*Ensure high levels of safety and hygiene for self and others*Work with training coordinator to ensure knowledge, training and development is passed onto relevant new starts or apprentices*Ensure all waste products are separated into their designated containers *Set up reduction (SMED) and 5s programmeIf you meet the above criteria we would love to hear from you!
