Job Description

Graphic Design Manager [ Graphic Designer- Design ManagerSheffield/ London - Regulated Environment/ NFP - Hybrid WorkingClient DetailsA fast growing organisation with lots of opportunity. You will have exposure to many clients both in the public and private sector.DescriptionAs a Graphic Design Manager you will be;Working as part of the digital team you will work across a number of departments as well as working with external stakeholders. You will act as an internal agency in helping to advice, produce and deliver various forms of marketing collateral both on-lineand off-line

  • You will be a creative Graphic Designer or Design Manager who has the commercial acumen to help drive projects and take a lead on material being produced. You will also line manage
  • The purpose of this role is to oversee creative and design outputs in both a hand on and management capacity.
  • Working within the In-house Studio, you will lead the creative and conceptual design work across each area
  • You will also have responsibility for relationship management, budgets, briefing, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • You will lead creative discussions and ideation for a wide variety of design outputs including content, collateral, campaigns, events, brand guidelines, website design and visuals, ensuring that these are on brand and consistent.
Main responsibilities
  • Managing all design and imagery across our portfolio of websites, as well as new design layouts Management of all graphic design projects, from conception, brief to delivery
  • Providing feedback to agencies (or junior designer)
  • Representing the team in stakeholder and internal customer meetings to present design updates
  • Leading workshops and pro-actively driving forward and raising the profile of the in-house studio
  • Designing and creating brochures for our portfolio of websites
  • Lead internal creative meetings from conceptual to final production stage.
  • Internal communications design support (posters, infographics, newsletter, video)
  • Creation of banners, imagery and other design-led content for social media and paid media campaigns
  • Creating infographics for use in company presentations, internal and external reports, and PR outreach
  • Creating designs and production files for printed collaterals, illustrations, brochures and events marketing materials, on-site artworks, signage (office signs, screens) flyers, banners, posters etc.
  • Producing video interview material that can be used on our websites and social media.
  • Review brief, create storyboard for video interviews and footage list
ProfileThe ideal candidate
  • A proven track record working as a Graphic Design Manager, Design Manager in producing various forms of marketing materials with a passion and creative flair.
  • 3 to ideally 5+ years design experience in a similar marketing team and experience of working with agencies
  • You must have the ability to manage stakeholders, external partners, agencies and ideally line managed 1 person.
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (inc. Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Experience of video editing is preferable using Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Knowledge of standard Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with brand management and guardianship
  • Experience of filming short in-house videos with video editing.
  • Previous experience managing creative design projects.
  • Ideally some experience of UX and UI working alongside developers is preferable.
