Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic fast-growth Telco business based in the S. Yorkshire region.Client DetailsMy client is a leading force within the telco services industry, no.1 in a number of product lines with an exciting and ambitious product pipeline for the next few years. Turnover currently circa £20-40m and growing rapidly. They are based in the South Yorkshirearea and have a entrepreneurial, start-up culture with an office equipped with all the trimmings you can come to expect from a dynamic SME.DescriptionThe Finance Business Partner will work closely with the business to provide a key link between operations and management. Specifically they will be responsible for the following:

  • to be a trusted adviser and add value in decision making
  • provide real time commercial team support and assistance
  • attend weekly lead supplier meetings
  • support Head of Operations on commercial weekly / monthly meetings
  • support Head of Operations in managing and supporting the implementation and adherence of the strategy to the wider operations team
  • provide financial perspective in the launch of new products and services
  • lead the daily call meetings providing insight into the performance of the business and its financial impact
  • update SLT with the outcome and actions from the daily call
  • provide financial cost/ benefit to Operations for partner incentivised promotions
  • insight into those product lines that generate the best revenue and promoting these to operations
ProfileThe Finance Business Partner will have the following credentials:
  • Professional finance qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience
  • Ability to create a story with the numbers
  • Able to engage non-finance stakeholders and communicate effectively
  • Comfortable working in a start-up environment
  • Ability to work 5 days from the office
  • Experience within the telecommunications sector ideal but not essential
Job OfferBasic salary circa £45,000 + benefits.
