FACTORY MANAGER£35,000+GRAFTON RECRUITMENTGrafton Recruitment is looking for a talented Factory Manager on behalf of our client, based in South Yorkshire. Our client is a reputable metal fabrications company, specialising in welding, architectural fabrication, construction fabrication and staircase fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a good background in welding/engineering, as well as leadership experience within the industry, either at a supervisory or managerial level. Experience in Quality Control is essential, and the ideal candidate will have experience working to ISO 9001 and BSN 1090 standards.PRIMARY OBJECTIVES- To ensure the best allocation of resources and labour within the factory- To communicate job tasks and contracts with the team, ensuring planned production targets are met and issues are escalated at weekly production meetings- To ensure quality of product is in line with company standards, working to ISO 9001 & BSN 1090- To carry out stock checks on consumables such as gas and wire, and making necessary orders with suppliersTHE CANDIDATE- Background in welding/engineering- Leadership experience at supervisory/managerial level within the metalwork industry- Good communication and teamworking skills- Able to organise team and resources to ensure deadlines and targets are met- Decision maker; able to exercise judgement and take ownership of actions and decisions- Experience of working with quality control For further information on the role, please contact Danny at our Hull Office atGi Group are committed to protecting the privacy of all of our candidates and clients.
