An Electrical Controls Engineer with a good background in Electrical Design and PLC Systems Design and Programming is sought by a South Yorkshire Engineering CompanyThe role involves the electrical and control systems design and commissioning of specialist automated heavy manufacturing equipment. You will be given concept designs of machinery and provide a functional overview of the control systems and design and write programs on a variety of PLCs. You will also create Electrical Schematics, design and build HMI screens and ensure the PLCs communicate with peripherals such as inverter drives, sensors and encoders and create Bills of Materials.You will also be involved in testing, installation and commissioning with UK and International travel required as part of the role.The successful candidate will have a qualification within electrical engineering or control systems and have experience of designing electrical control systems and HMIs.
