Job Description

A leading International Manufacturer with offices located in the Doncaster area are looking to appoint a Credit Controller to join their existing Finance team on a permanent basis.We are looking for self-starters who are experienced within Credit Control with an excellent attention to detail and strong IT skills. Supporting the Finance department, the Credit Controller will undertake a range of necessary tasks and identify solutions.The role involves ensuring timely payments are made for the permanent ledger and managing debt recovery.Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Ensure receipts, payment applications and certificates are received on time and in full
  • Accurately posting sales receipts & reconciliation of sales ledger
  • Raise & post sales invoices to sales ledger
  • Keep precise records of outstanding retentions
  • Resolving account queries and managing debt recovery via email & telephone to achieve desired results
  • Work towards and meet monthly targets for improving working capital & driving down Debtor Days as well as other KPIs
  • Build both internal relationships with Project Managers and external with customers
  • Manage and review credit limits by arranging periodic credit checks
  • Taking credit card payments via phone & bank cheques to ensure receipts are banked in a timely manner
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required in which you adequately trained to carry out.
