Elevations Engineering & Manufacturing Team are currently working in partnership with a Manufacturing Business based in South Yorkshire.They have an extremely rare opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to join their existing team on a temporary to permanent basis.Working hours: 2 shifts;Week 1: Monday to Friday 06.00am - 02.00pmWeek 2: Monday to Thursday 2.00pm - 11.00pmHourly paid: £13.00 p/h + Shift AllowanceResponsibilities & Experience:*Must have experience in operating 48" and larger vertical borers and up to a 1.8 metre chuck on lathes*Must be able to program, set and operate vertical borers and long bed lathes*Ability to program and operate a Fanuc system is essential*Experience in using a FARO CMM arm or similar would be advantageous*Skills in CAD/CAM Software would be advantageous*Must be able to work to tight tolerances and deadlines*Must be able to work as part of a team and possess good written and verbal communication skillsExperience:*Experience with large components is essential*Be able to read engineering drawings*Working with a range of materials *Experience with the repair and refurbishment of componentsIf you want to discuss this position in more detail, please call Nicola Jackson at Elevation Recruitment Group.Elevation Recruitment Groups Engineering & Manufacturing division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
