Job Description

An international removals company is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to join their team based in South Yorkshire.You will be in charge of leading and managing the branch team to meet revenue, margin, and contribution targets. The successful candidate will accomplish this through effective daily planning, monitoring, and management of the daily operation.Branch Manager Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent superior service, following the removal companys quality standards.
  • The position will also be accountable for full compliance with Health and Safety and transportation legislation.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to maximise sales & business development.
  • Responsible for the complete accountability for the removal branch contribution.
  • Wages, POs, and other costs must be accurately reported.
  • Weekly close / sign-off on all removal jobs.
  • Weekly trading reports and monthly forecasts are included.
  • Manage the people, vehicles, and materials needed to meet the number of planned moves, including staff levels and holidays.
  • To conduct removal customer visits before, during, and after moves to ensure service quality.
  • Ensure that any shortfalls are fully investigated and managed to conclusion.
  • Removal claims and complaints should be thoroughly investigated.
  • Hold removal branch service meetings every month.
Required experience for the Branch Manager:
  • At least three years of experience in a similar role in the removal industry.
  • Excellent man management skills.
  • A motivated, enthusiastic, and upbeat attitude towards work and projects.
