Reed Social Care - Qualified Hub - Leeds are currently recruiting for an Adoption Social Worker for a Volountary Adoption Agency in South Yorkshire:My client is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Qualified Social Worker to support them in the next exciting stage of development of their adoption services. This is an exciting time to join a highly successful adoption agency.This post will mainly focus on Recruitment & Assessment of Adopters and you will be part of an enthusiastic and experienced team working closely with colleagues across childrens services and working in partnership with external agencies. The post holder will be expected to complete his/her duties to the standards and timescales as defined by current Adoption Agencies Regulations, National Minimum Standards and Statutory Practice Guidance. You will be required to follow all Agency policies and procedures and to comply with all Social Work England registration standards.Job purpose:Completing Prospective Adopter Reports, matching and post placement support.Delivering workshops and preparation training.Recruitment activities in the community and via social mediaThe team also compile reports for the court in respect of Non-agency adoption applications.The package:• £34000 per annum• Working full time (36 hours and 40 minutes per week)The successful candidate will:
