Job Description

PART TIME WEEKEND JOB AVAILABLE Title: Yard Person/Housekeeper Job RoleWe are currently seeking a yard person/housekeeper to work at a luxury residential apartment complex in South Kensington. Required to work Saturday and Sunday between 16-24 hours.Salary: Good hourly rates Job Duties Include;

  • Moving large paladin bins on wheels (1300x1300x850mm, maximum load weight is 264kgs)
  • Collecting recycling, using the compactor
  • Jet washing paladin stores and bins
  • Carrying out routine checks of the building and grounds
  • Unblocking rubbish chutes
  • Furniture removals
  • Cleaning the drains
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Occasionally putting up scaffolding
  • Assisting the resident gardener
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
  • Washing windows
  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
  • Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
  • Steaming and cleaning draperies, & Washing blinds
  • Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
  • Duties are not exhaustive
    • Skills and QualificationsKnowledge of and experience in Cleaning and Sanitising internal and external areas to a high standard meeting requirements. Willingness to Learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment. Ability to Adapt to Different Situations and Change Work Processes to accommodate customer needs. Listening Skills to make sure that they are meeting the needs of their clients for cleanliness and sanitation standards. Good Customer Service skills. Reliability. Organisational skills. Integrity and Honesty. High Energy Levels. Driving license desirable. Required skills
