Job Description

We are currently searching for an experienced Solutions Architect join a leading group of premium international schools as they start an ambitious global websites development project.Functional expertise required for Solutions Architect:

  • Solid background in Computer Science, with CMS knowledge and experience in IT (.NET) architecture
  • Solid knowledge and experience on TOGAF or other equivalent architecture framework
  • Solid understanding of the Microsoft .NET technology stack
  • Excellent C# Skills
  • Solid experience in an architecture role
  • Solid experience in Sitecore implementations
  • A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform
  • Excellent skills in combining business and technology
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate key messages very clearly
  • Openness to work with different languages & cultures
    • The Solutions Architect is expected to:
  • Design the technology aspects of the solution in line with business objectives, requirements and architecture principles.
  • Be responsible for end to end technical custodianship and ownership of a solution.
  • Have demonstrable knowledge of deploying large scale and complex projects in the cloud and good cloud design practices appropriate cost and complexity information captured and documented.
  • Define and document (in the form of solution design documents) end to end solution architectures that provide technology solutions for business requirements and objectives.
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Architect to ensure that the solutions align to the organisation’s enterprise reference architectures, architecture principles and ways of working.
  • Be a key member of the design authority and change boards and represent the project and/or change in the design authority as needed.
  • Ensure appropriate project/product technical options are considered and recommended approaches have appropriate cost and complexity information captured and documented.
  • Ensure all project/product technical issues and risks are managed appropriately and resolved.
  • Work with internal teams and suppliers to ensure that good software engineering and service design practices are followed.
