Together,we can empower students to overcome challenges and unlock their full potential.Role and ResponsibilitiesAs our Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support and guidance to students with SEMH and ASD. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing personalised behaviour management plans to address individual needs.
  • Building strong rapport and trust with students, creating a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Providing one-on-one mentoring and support during challenging situations.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent and holistic support.
  • Monitoring student progress, assessing effectiveness of interventions, and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Promoting social-emotional development and fostering positive relationships within the school community.
Qualifications and ExperienceTo thrive in this role, you will need:
  • Must have experience working with students with SEMH and ASD.
  • A solid understanding of evidence-based practices in behaviour management.
  • Strong knowledge of individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, serving as a positive role model for students.
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of students.
