Job Description

This Senior Management Accountant role requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting within the Life Science industry.Client DetailsOur client is a leading figure in the Life Science industry, boasting a significant global reach. With a turnover of over £200m annually, they are committed to delivering high-quality products and services to their clients. Their UK subsidiary is based inthriving West End location.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of this Senior Management Accountant role will be:General Accounting

  • Perform monthly closing based on local reporting standards.
  • Intercompany reconciliations.
  • Banking reconciliations and statements.
  • Audit Preparation and Internal controls.
  • Royalty and Advances reconciliations.
  • Manage certain supplier relations and reconciliations.
  • Supervision of Accruals/prepayments, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Other Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Improve and change internal and financial controls and processes.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by management.
Reporting
  • Assisting with the monthly Management Accounts preparation and presentation:
    • Sales and Product margin analysis
    • AP/AR Reporting
    • Banking and investment Reporting
    • Expenditure analysis and investigation
    • FX Reconciliations and reporting
  • Development of new reports using Excel, Power Bi and SAP
SAP Duties
  • Maintain the integrity of SAP Business by Design:
    • Weekly Exchange rate loads
    • Weekly MT940s loads.
    • Weekly sales reporting and other Ad Hoc report creation when required.
ProfileA successful Management Accountant should have:
  • PQ in relevant accountancy qualification (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in SAP accounting software
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
