Job Description

Deverellsmith are recruiting for a Senior Design Manager to take ownership of the interior design function of a new Super Prime project in Central London consisting of 70 residential units.Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the interior design (ID) on projects, ensuring adherence to project brief guidelines in terms of quality, time, and budget.
  • Define and articulate project briefs, aligning with project requirements and maintaining a cohesive design vision.
  • Act as the custodian of design throughout all stages, ensuring the delivery aligns with the specified quality.
  • Collaborate with external consultants, architects, and other stakeholders for successful project outcomes.
  • Create design briefs for the consultants and providing feedback as required
  • Liaise with outside consultants and architects for design and material approvals
  • Review, critique and enhance space planning and interior designs
  • Provide value additions in space planning and design
  • Produce innovative as well as functional design solutions
  • Ensure drawings and information flow within the wider design team
  • Assist in resolving programme obstructions and in decision making
  • Work closely with operations and external parties to ensure the delivery is in accordance with the quality reputation
  • Check quality of execution at site stages - ensuring the delivery meets expectations
It is essential that you have led the interior architecture on a Zone 1, Super Prime, Multi unit scheme prior, either client ofarchitectural side as the lead interior design manager on the scheme from stages 1 through to 7.You will be well experienced in design software including Revit, AutoCad and Adobe Suite with demonstrated freehand sketching and floor layout skills.You must have experience working in a similar role for a high-end Zone 1 developer on scheme of 20+ units.In return you will be joining an entrepreneurial business who are experiencing continued growth following the successful delivery of some of Londons most prestigious real estate.The company offer flexible working and complete autonomy within the role.Required skills
