Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Credentialing Team Officer to join our Credentialing team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is a based in our Head Office in Central London (NW1 4LJ), with a hybrid working model. The London Clinic has a supportive and warm working culture where yourcontribution is valued, and you can help us deliver our three core values of "We go further", "We work as one" and "We personalise care."Job ProfileThe Senior Credentialing Team Officer will manage the process of practising privileges at The London Clinic, including applications for new privileges (both permanent and temporary) reinstatement, suspension and removal of privileges. The role includes supportingthe Credentialing Team with maintaining consultant credentialing compliance and delivering an effective escalation process for non-compliant consultants.The Senior Credentialing Team Officer will work closely with the Medical Director and be responsible for managing the regular review of practising privileges, including scope of practice, strategic fit, activity and complaints. The ideal candidate will haveexperience of working in a credentialing role within the independent sector, be self-directed and resourceful and have a professional approach under pressure.

  • Job Type: This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.
  • Contract: 12-month fixed term contract.
  • Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
  • Location: 1 Park Square West, London, NW1 4LJ (Baker Street and Regents Park stations) - this role will offer a hybrid working approach.

Key Duties
  • Maintain consultant database of privileges (full and temp).
  • Regular review of the consultant privileges, scope of practice, strategic fit, margin, outcomes, complaints, adverse incidents with colleagues, Medical Director and COO.
  • Deliver non-compliant pathway through written letters via escalation and subsequent removal of privileges.
  • Ensure documentation e.g. new privileges agreements are signed and updated as needed within the consultant privileges community.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience of working in independent sector undertaking a credentialing role.
  • Experience in managing excel databases and running reports.
  • Understanding of GMC and other professional standards.
  • Team leader experience is desirable.
