Job Description

Cedar is currently partnered with a global, PE-Backed, Telecommunications Business to secure an Interim Senior Accountant based in Central London. The role is a 6-month initial contract, paying a day rate between £350-450 per day.The CompanyThis rapidly growing business has been a dynamic and challenging entrant into the telecommunications and infrastructure market. They have performed extremely well, winning high-profile projects, while continuing to raise funds to drive the business forward.The RoleAs Interim Senior Accountant, you will cover:

  • Supporting the Financial Controller with the month end process: journal posting, P&L Analysis, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Analysing Projects, Collaborate with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with the year-end process.
  • Supporting the ERP system implementation from Exchequer to Workday: Data testing, New process creation, Process documentation
  • Support the wider Finance Team with various ad hoc projects. Being involved in the financial planning and analysis.
Your ProfileYou will ideally have:
  • A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA)·
  • Experience with both Management Accounting, and Financial Accounting.
  • Experience project accounting, tracking costing over time, WIP etc, would be beneficial.
  • Prior experience in an interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.
  • The rate of £350-450 per day represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
