Lead SEND Teacher- Kensington and ChelseaAre you an experienced and compassionate Lead SEND Teacher with a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behavior We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the Kensingtonand Chelsea area and take on a pivotal role in providing outstanding education and support for students across Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. As a Lead SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pastoral care, designing a tailored curriculum,and leading professional responsibilities and subject leadership.Key Responsibilities:- Pastoral Care:Provide exemplary pastoral care and support for a specific group of pupils with SEMH needs, working closely with the students to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.- Curriculum Design: Develop and implement individualized learning plans and a bespoke curriculum to meet the specific needs of students with SEMH, ensuring that the curriculum supports their educational, emotional, and social development.- Managing Professional Responsibilities: Lead and support a team of educators and support staff, providing guidance, professional development, and performance management to ensure consistent high-quality teaching and support for students.- Subject Leadership: Take a lead role in a specific subject area, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the delivery of an engaging and stimulating curriculum that meets the needs of students with SEMH.Qualifications and Experience:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.- Substantial experience working with students with SEMH and challenging behavior, particularly in a Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4 setting.- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team to deliver exceptional support and education to students with diverse needs.- Sound knowledge of best practices, legislation, and policies related to special education needs and disabilities, particularly in SEMH.The Lead SEND Teacher role is paid to scale; applicants must be able to travel easily to Kensington and Chelsea.If you are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students with SEMH and challenging behavior and are seeking an opportunity to lead and make an impact, we encourage you to apply and be a part of our collaborative and supportive educationalcommunity.Key Words:Kensington and Chelsea, Education and Training, SEND Education and Training, Lead SEND Teacher in Kensington and Chelsea, SEMH Education and Training.
