Job Description

Science Technican Various London BoroughsASAP start£90-100 per dayWe are currently working with a number of secondary school across London that require experienced Science Technicians for a roles beginning asap.You will possess a degree in a science subject and have experience working as a Science Technician/lab assistant, as well as having experience in an education setting - for example as a teaching assistant.Strong science graduates without the above experience may also be considered for similar roles.As a Science Technician as well as looking after lab equipment, setting up materials, and carrying out safety checks, you will also:

  • be dedicated to helping students achieve their attainment levels
  • encourage students to engage proactively with their learning
  • be responsible in helping to provide a safe environment for students to learn.
  • You will assist the teacher in the students their learning and development as well as with behaviour management, consistently promoting positive behaviour.
To be considered for this role of Science Technician you must hold a degree in a science subject. Ideally you will already have some experience of working with young people, or you may be considering furthering your career in education as a teacher.
