My client is a prestigious Serviced apartment hotel suited in a picturesque location around Westminster, providing a wide variety of amenities to suit all guests either looking for a relaxing or active stay.They have an opening for an experienced Reservations Manager.Competative Salary + Benefits - 40 hours over 5 days per week.Are you currently a team leader or supervisors looking for that next step Or a Manager looking for a new adventure. Role:To ensure accuracy and efficiency in all apartment reservations, processing all details according to the hotels policy and procedure to the highest standard and ensuring the yield is maximised at all times.Main Duties:* To lead the Reservations Team ensuring appropriate staffing levels, effective distribution of workload and ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Hotel and Department Operations Manuals.* To manage the performance and development of the Reservations Team ensuring that all colleagues are appraised at required intervals and that active Individual Personal Development Plans are in place to meet both training and development needs.* To monitor apartment availability for the coming months and liaise with the Director of Revenue with regard to the inventory.* To communicate and administer the selling strategy to team* To conduct and contribute to regular Departmental Communications Meetings.* To ensure reservations are taken accurately & traces are in place for front office to follow up as required.* To ensure that all correspondence (i.e. email, fax, telex, letters etc) are actioned straight away and that a response is received within 24 hours.* To ensure that all requests for confirmations are carried out daily.* To ensure that for all reservations taken on the day of arrival Guest Relations and Reception are advised.* To ensure that all bookings are displaying the correct rate.* To ensure that all bookings whose account will be paid for by the company have back-up correspondence, and accounting have been informed timely before checking out.* To maintain the high standards of the hotel Required skills
