Job Description

PackageSalary up to £32,000 p.a. depending on experienceWhy choose our ClientOur hotel client is located in the exclusive Knightsbridge area offering luxurious accommodation, a fine dining restaurant, fitness facilities and an indoor swimming pool plus within walking distance to several of Londons main attractionsWhats involvedAs Reception Manager your duties will include but not limited to:
  • Maintain operational standards throughout reception
  • Cover nights in the absence of the Night Manager when on holiday or due to sickness
  • Handling of complaints or queries in an efficient and professional manner
  • Maximise on the profitability of the department, achieving budgeted revenues through training staff to up sell on every opportunity and controlling departmental expenses including wages
  • Carry out performance reviews
  • Ensuring good communication lines are maintained with all departments
  • Cover Duty Manager shifts as and when required
As a successful Reception Manager you will have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a hotel Receptionist with knowledge of the corporate and leisure markets and ideally from a 4 star hotel background.
