Job Description

Do you have programmes experience within the higher education sectorJob role: Programme Support OfficerLocation: Kings Cross areaHours: Monday-Friday 9-5pmWorking pattern: Hybrid - 2- 3 days onsitePay rate: £20.30p/h plus holiday payDuration 4-6 months temporary likely to be extendedJoin an internationally renowned Arts higher education institution in London as a Programme Support Officer and play a pivotal role in supporting over 540 learners on the Arts and History undergraduates, postgraduates and research programme.This is an administrative role responding to the wider and more complex requirements involved in the management of programmes within the Faculty. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all administrative tasks relating to Faculty programmes.As a Programme Support Officer, you will:

  • Manage the BA and post graduates programmes working closing with both students and academic staff
  • To co-ordinate all student interruptions and withdrawals, liaising with the relevant Programme Leaders
  • Work closely with the Programme Support Administrators to ensure consistency in approach
  • Co-ordinating the production of examination papers and liaising with external organisations
  • Implement and maintain an effective process to record all mitigating circumstances
To be successful in the role you will have:
  • Previous higher education administration experience ideally in supervising / coordinating the workload of others
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, and familiarity with SITS and Moodle
  • Ability to work pro-actively in a small team
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
