Job Description

Salary: £24,000 per annum + Generous Service ChargeWorking Hours: 5 Nights/Week on a 5/7 Rota BasisAre you a night owl with a passion for hospitality We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Porter to join our world-class 5-star hotel located in the prestigious Knightsbridge area.Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Management: Handle late-night check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
  • Security Oversight: Conduct regular patrols to maintain the safety and security of the hotel premises.
  • Guest Assistance: Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, requests, and information during the night shift.
  • Emergency Response: Be the first point of contact in case of emergencies, following established protocols and ensuring the safety of guests and colleagues.
  • Public Area Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the cleanliness and presentation of public areas meet our high standards.
  • Contribute to a Positive Guest Experience: Collaborate with the team to uphold the hotels commitment to exceptional service.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment is preferred.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a 5/7 rota, including weekends and holidays.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for handling night-time check-in/check-out procedures.
  • Initiative: A proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
