Job Description

Psychology Graduate - Learning Support Assistant

  • Based in Kensington & Chelsea
  • Full-time
TimePlan Education are recruiting Psychology Graduates in the Kensington and Chelsea area to support a school in the area as a Learning Support Assistant. Your role will be to support pupils with different SEND needs, some needs you will be supporting areVisually Impaired, Hearing Impaired, Autism and SEMH/ELSA. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but is not essential.You will be working as Learning Support Assistant on a full-time basis at the school.Job Responsibilities
  • Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties
  • Ability to engage and support pupils
  • Assist with personal care if needed
  • Supervising pupils behaviour

Job Requirements
  • Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND needs is desirable but is not essential
  • Able to stay calm and de-escalate challenging behaviour
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 6 months
