Job Description

Lead Practitioner of Science An "Outstanding" All-Through School in Wandsworth are on the hunt for a Lead Practitioner of Science for a September 2024 start. This is a full-time, and permanent position.What will the role of Lead Practitioner of Science entail

  • Raising attainment, and the pupils numbers for French A Level
  • Leading a team of Science Teachers
  • Quality of teaching across all 3 Sciences
  • Delivering engaging lessons to avoid behavior issues!
The Head Teacher is keen to find a language enthusiast who can take the Schools Science curriculum & department to the next level.   • MPS3 - UPS3 + TLR (Size depending on experience) - LP Scale also on offer!
  • Located in the Borough of Wandsworth
PERSON SPECIFICATION
  • Must have high standards for yourself & colleagues
  • Strong teaching capacity KS3 Biology, Chemistry and Physics at a minimum - but KS4 & 5 Physics or Chemistry would be the dream!
  • Willingness to lead from the front
  • Must have UK QTS
  • Graded "Outstanding" or "Good" in recent lesson observations
