Job Description

Part Time HR Manager (Monday - Friday, 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day)Wimbledon£16-19phJoin our clients dynamic and inclusive team as an HR Manager! With the opportunity to work 30 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, this position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement. They are open to considering 25 hours per week as well.As the HR Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring HR compliance, EYFS statutory compliance, talent acquisition, and talent development across all our clients sites. Your responsibilities will include managing the HR management system, providingguidance to the Directors and senior leadership team, and overseeing recruitment, including line management of the recruitment administrator.As the HR Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and updating our PeopleHR system, ensuring data security
  • Providing HR support to the senior team, especially in disciplinary actions and grievances
  • Supporting employee well-being and promoting mental health awareness
  • Managing the recruitment administrator and ensuring safer recruitment practises
  • Developing and implementing the company recruitment strategy
  • Overseeing the onboarding process and talent acquisition strategies
  • Building relationships with universities and colleges for fresh talent acquisition
  • Organising and participating in employment stands at public venues and job shows
  • Delivering HR and recruitment training sessions
To excel in this role, you should…
  • Hold a HR qualification and be registered with CIPD.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in HR is required, preferably in the education industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills in spoken and written English are a must.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software (e.g. People HR) is essential, as is familiarity with various websites, apps, and social media platforms such as Indeed, Reed, Nursery World Jobs, and Facebook.
