Job Description

Clark James Financial Services Recruitment are working with a highly established boutique IFA for an experienced and technical Financial Services Administrator to join the Private Client team in their office based in SW London. The Financial Services Administrator role requires strong knowledge of administering Pensions, Investment and Protection products and of dealing with HNW clients, providing effective pre and post sales support to a Senior Financial Adviser.Duties will include:

  • Meeting preparation including preparation of draft valuation of policies and plans and pre-completing any Application Forms etc that are required.
  • Liaising with providers, insurance companies and solicitors to gather data.
  • New business processing both online and via post
  • Management of underwriting to policy document issue.
  • Maintaining and updating client records & creating new client records on our company database which is Adviser Office also known as 1st Technology or IRESS.
  • Assisting with mailshots
  • General office duties
  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • You will also be responsible for checking the work of others and making sure that things are all correctly in place, so we are seeking someone who will have the initiative to notice errors and ensure that the department runs smoothly with minimal errors
  • Key Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Investments, Life and pensions products, and legislation gained within an IFA environment
  • Certificate in Financial Planning or equivalent, and happy to continue studies towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly IT literate and ideally knowledge of IRESS back office system
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and to tight deadlines are essential qualities for this role
  • Remuneration:
  • Basic salary up to circa £37,000 (depending on experience and professional qualifications)
