Position: Document Controller Contract period: Ongoing - with chance for permanent employment Main contractor, looking to recruit a Document Controller with experience using Aconex assisting with project administration and all aspects of document control working on two large projects one being an engineering project and the other a large data centre. The successful applicant will be based onsite and be expected to deal with large work loads. Exciting opportunity for an experienced Document Controller who likes to keep busy and enjoys a challenge. Responsibilities would include: * Set up and maintain Document Control system to meet needs of Aconex* Provide document support (issuing of controlled documents) * Monitor compliance of document control system * Manages and deals with all correspondence and construction information: establish, sort, maintain, copy and distribute as directed * Ensure all office facilities and consumables are provided and maintained in an organised manner * Support project team in preparation of correspondence and reports * Administration & support as required for the Project Management Team Required Qualifications & Skills: * Experienced Document Controller with the construction industry * Experience working on similar projects mentioned ( desirable ) * Excellent knowledge and experience of IT software packages, Excel, Word * Proven ability as a document controller (Experience of BIW ) * Strong interpersonal skills * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong self-planning and organisational skills * Effectively manage own time / prioritises work load Behaviours: * Applies collaborative approach * Calmly deal with all situations in a controlled and considered manner * A team player * Compliance with company procedures * Vigorous attention to detail
