Job Description

Immediate start12 month FTCJob Title: Data Financial AnalystSalary: Up to £60k pa + great benefits + bonusLocation: PutneyOur client offers a fantastic working environment, great benefit and bonus. Theyre looking for an ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified Financial Analyst to join their team in Putney. You will be supporting the C&D Business Partner with financial modelling and reporting, providing data to the C&D team and identify appropriate data sources and ensures they are available.Your Key Responsibilities:* Prepare site-by-site reforecasts, enter into Cognos and help reconcile delivery budget * Provide ad hoc analysis for various activities such as promotions, pricing, tech business cases on an as needed basis* Support the multichannel budgeting process for C&D * Support the understanding of the profitability of off premise channels * Support the enhancement of the companys Business Intelligence capabilities and processes and work to deliver automated multichannel reporting for the off-premise team * Understand the impact (cannibalisation) of off premise channels on eat in and collect * Analyse sales trends in order to update forecasts * Create and update financial models using data mining and other techniques that enable scenario modelling, helping to maximise the off-premise channels, and monitor the contractual obligations with delivery partners * Leading the development of a collaborative partnership within the finance department to ensure accountability for accuracy and timeliness of data, and proactively support and drive improvements to reporting and data * Provide analysis on the business managing the Delivery channel within the boundaries determined * Support the cash and banking team to ensure the smooth operations of delivery accounting (partner reconciliation) highlighting improvements and working with the off premise team and external partners to deploy solutions * Help to support the identification and optimisation of formats for off premise activity that could include such items as National demand planning/modelling, labour efficiencies, Day part and sales mix analysis and profitability * Promoting best practice within the FP&A and wider Finance teams, and constantly look to improve processes and proceduresKey Skills, Experience and Attributes required:* Advanced excel skills is essential * ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified * Demonstrates integrity and credibility with all individuals * Strong attention to detail* Effective written and verbal communicator who can articulate in a clear, simple, concise way * Ability to join the dots (commercial acumen) broader than just the financial data at hand* Ability to deal with pressure and a willingness to work the hours required to deliver to tight deadlines * Strong analytical skills - skilled at taking large amounts of data and making the complex simple * Be able to take a hypothesis through to recommendation * Multi-site retail/hospitality experience is a distinct advantage * System knowledge preferred: Excel (Advanced), Cognos Analyst (Advanced), CODA If you have the right skills and experience for this role then please apply today.
