Job Description

  • South West London office / Surrey area + 2 days a week WFH
  • Up to £38,000 DOE
We are working with an iconic British brand, who trade globally and are known for some of the UKs best-loved products. They are seeking an experienced International Account Manager with good wholesale sales experience within international markets to manageexisting accounts, whilst growing and developing their customer base. The successful candidate will have a proactive, confident and entrepreneurial approach, be a great relationship builder, and keen to join a great team and values-led business.Duties as International Account Manager will include:
  • Responsibility for all B2B international order book, sales targets, forecasting, and reporting
  • Building strong relationships with existing customers, distributors and retailers, maximising opportunity and spend
  • Visiting your customer base as needed to present new collections, and build relationships & brand awareness
  • Take an active role in sales meetings and strategy planning, looking at the existing customer base, current market, competitors, etc, identifying new opportunities
  • Supporting your customer base on product selection, negotiating trading terms, etc
  • Reviewing and analysing sales, reporting to the wider team as required
  • Attending domestic and international trade shows, and proactively following up on leads
  • Working closely with the wider team including operations, marketing and finance
The successful International Account Manager will have the following qualities:
  • Strong international wholesale sales experience, ideally within the gift, games, toy or homewares industry
  • A proactive, dynamic and goal-driven approach, someone who works well on their own initiative
  • The ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, and an excellent communicator
  • A passion for sales and retail
  • Knowledge of the financial workings of retailers/distributors including margin analysis, rebates and mark-downs
  • A positive, proactive approach and a strong team player
