Summary:Join our passionate team as a Volunteering Experience Officer!Hours: This is a fulltime role with 37.50 hours per week Salary: £20721 per annumContract: This is a 12 month contractWhat its like to work here:For more information about this locationplease go to this link - https://sissinghurst-castle-gardenWhat youll be doing:The Sissinghurst portfolio has a high profile with International significance, there are four properties open to visitors each requiring its own special approach ensuring thatwe deliver exceptional experiences throughout. Youll be responsible for the management of our volunteers from recruitment and selection to developing volunteering offers and programmes. Youll have a sound working knowledge and experience of volunteeringprinciples and practice and will be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt your style and tone to meet the changing needs of your audience. Youll also be able to recognise the key differences between staff and volunteering roles, particularly the legalframework, the approach to reward and recognition, and dealing with challenging situations. Youll have the ability to work and influence across all properties with close links to all departments at Sissinghurst will be critical to your success. Good peopleskills will enable you to form strong relationships which are essential alongside the ability to be well organised and attentive to detail. In this role you will also undertake duty manager responsibilities on a rota basis, further information on the dutymanager responsibilities will be provided at interview stage.
