If you enjoy driving and like meeting people this is the role for you. Youll be delivering wheelchairs to people locally or further afield to help them get moving again after illness or injury.We would like you to volunteer:1 day a week (approximately6 hours)Monday to FridayFor at least 6 monthsThere may be opportunities to drive longer distances to help us deliver wheelchairs to our other locations but this is not mandatory.Ideally you will live within 10 miles of the equipment collection point.k.Healthand Safety StatementWe take an individual approach to ensuring your safety.We may ask you to complete a simple risk assessment. Each year we hire out or loan over 75,000 wheelchairs to help people to get around after an injury or illness. Whether it is delivery or collection for people at home, or moving equipment between buildings, you will be joininga friendly team of people who help to get people moving again.
