Job Description

This Territory Sales Manager role is responsible for growing the business through implementing a regional sales strategy that is focused on growing targeted market share (volume), revenue and improving bottom line margin with existing and new customers throughdelivering exceptional service offerings and creating opportunities to sell "value-add" products and services within the defined geographical area of responsibility.Client DetailsUK leading supplier of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates (crushed rock, sand and gravel), ready-mixed concrete, asphalt, cement and cement related materials.Description

  • Generate new business from new and existing customers while ensuring the efficient follow up of all potential customer opportunities.
  • Implement and support market segment strategies in line with the Market Strategy Plan
  • Identify opportunities to "add value" and contribute to the success of the customers business.
  • Achieve territory/account & new product sales volume (targeted market share)/revenue/margin targets.
  • Collaboratively work with and positively influence the Regions Sales Team within the territory.
  • Integral part of the South west regional sales team which works closely with our wider operations and customer service departments to fulfil my clients customers requirements.
Profile
  • A proven track record of achievement in an external Sales Manager role in a related industry
  • Outcome focused with a Positive attitude and positive orientation towards the business, its objectives and its customers.
  • An understanding of customers businesses and what products can best meet their expectations and needs within the Aggregates industry.
  • Account management and Business development experience.
  • Experience working with large scale projects and ability to acquire business placement within them.
  • Good communication skills at various levels.
