Pay: Kent Range3 Start Date: November 2021We are looking for a committed andenthusiastic, experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ramsgate Arts Primary School.You should be a positive and enthusiastic person who loves working withchildren andhelping them to strive for their best. Experience of working acrosschildren with Special Educational Needs would be an advantage andalso experience of working in KS3. Your numeracy and literacy will be of a highenough calibre to improve standards. You willbe able to communicateeffectively with children and adults, have a flexible attitude, good sense ofhumour and be friendly and approachable. Good time management and the abilityto work on your own initiative are essential. Responsibilities may include:Workingin a KS3 Year Groupfor 25 hours per week, term time only.Supporting groups of children inachieving the lesson objective in literacy and maths and across all areas ofthe curriculum.Leading interventiongroups.Feeding back to the classteacher, sometimes keepingrecords of progress and behaviour.Above all you need tolike children, to want the very best for them and be prepared to put theirneeds first: children will be at the heart of your work. You must be able todemonstrate that you understand the importance of educatingthe whole childwithin a creative and innovative school setting. Pay: Kent Range 3, £18,425 pro rataapproximately £10,433 per annum. This contract will be a fixed termcontract until the 31st August 2022.
