Have your Saturday nights out and Sunday mornings to recover!Support Worker - ChristchurchHourly rate - £9.27 per hourHours - 15 per weekFull Driving Licence preferableShifts for this role are- every Saturday 7/7.30am - 2/2.30pm and every other Sunday 2/2.30pm - 10/10.30pm (this will be discussed at interview)About the roleWe are looking for a driver to work across 2 services in Christchurch and Winton, providing essential support for 2 gentlemenin their own homes.One gentleman is 50 on Christmas Day 2022, so were looking for someone who can spend the next 18 months getting to know him and really make his birthday & Christmas next year really special! Hes great fun to work with and you need to beable to keep up! He likes to be out an about, going on walks, on the bus, and out for drives in his car. When at home, he loves to play games, people and car watch and build Lego. He has a bit of sweet tooth, so we hope you like tea and cake or biscuits. Werelooking to start doing Alpaca Walking with him, and hopefully plan holiday too. He requires prompting with personal care, but likes a wet shave so will need support with that.The other gentleman is in his 40s and may not have great verbal skills however heis great at communication what he wants and needs. Again loves going out for a drive in his car, multiple times a day, he also loves trains and has a trike that he likes to be out on too. As things open back up hell be going back to day centre and his dramaclub. He loves food, but tends to eat too quickly, so you have to be very attentive at meal times.
