Job Description

SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEERWILTSHIREc£40k DOEGrafton Recruitment are looking to recruit a Supplier Quality Engineer for a technologically advanced manufacturing company.As part of their long-term commitment to quality and continued growth, they are looking to recruit an additional Quality Engineer who will be supplier focussed.THE ROLE:As a Quality Engineer you will be required to:

  • Key member of the quality team
  • Ensure supplier quality is up to required standards
  • Rank suppliers by performance
  • Maintain and update systems
  • Deploy 8D, 5Why to identify the root cause of errors
  • Utilise core quality and continuous improvement tools such as Ishikawa, Poka Yoke, Control Plans, SPC, Process Flows, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc
  • Conduct supplier audits
    • THE CANDIDATE:The ideal Supplier Quality Engineer:
  • Previously worked in a similar role
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A dynamic personality with the attitude to always do better
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to communicate and engage with people across all levels
    • COMMUTABLE FROM:Andover, Bath, Devizes, Melksham, Shrewton, Swindon, WestburyBENEFITS:
