Job Description

Solar Sales ConsultantOur client is a well-established solar PV installer and consultancy based in the South West. They know from experience how to design, develop, and maintain high-performing, sustainable solar assets and are proud of the expertise and excellent client servicethat they offer.Your role would involve:

  • Development and maintenance of knowledge on solar PV and battery storage
  • Dealing with initial customer enquiries, advising on feasibility and producing designs for solar PV and battery systems
  • Attending customer sites to carry out property/rooftop surveys
  • Producing grid connection applications
  • Registration and handover of newly installed systems, and excellent after-sales care
  • Maintaining and updating the company website and social media platforms
Required Skills:
  • A passion for renewable energy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise tasks as required
  • Numerical and analytical skills - you will be carrying out financial and energy data analyses as required
  • Basic understanding of the physics principles associated with solar PV and battery storage
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • You must have a full driving licence
The salary range is £22,000 - £25,000 basic + generous Commission.The role will be based out of Somerset and operate predominantly throughout the South West of England, however, there may be projects further afield and they would expect the successful candidate to be able to accommodate this, including but not limitedto occasional working away.They are a thriving company with excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.
