Job Description

Excellent Rates of Pay & Accommodation SupportA Local Authority is seeking an experienced Assessment Social Worker to join their front door services on a locum basis and are offering excellent rate to attract talented individualsHighlights:

  • Excellent rates of pay as well as £100/week towards accommodation
  • The manager is also able to offer flexible working and compressed weeks - you will also have the opportunity to work from home
  • The Local Authorities Childrens services received a large cash injection to help support the development of the service
  • Integrated IT system which you will have access to - this is a paperless system which reduces the time it takes for you to obtain relevant information also reduces bureaucracy.
  • Contracts are being offered for 6 months, however this is expected to go on without any changes to rate of pay, this gives you the chance to secure a stable post whilst bolstering your earnings
  • The teams recently restructured and operate in smaller teams with more management support.
This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to increase your earning as the post offers one of the best hourly rates, furthermore the role offers up to £100/week towards accommodation for those candidates not based in the area. As well as a highhourly rate the authority has made a number of changes which has improved the working environment, one of the key changes has been to integrate an IT system which reduces the need for paper notes and provides staff information from a variety of different sourcesalmost instantaneously.
